Pastor Homer D. Webb, II

Compassionate Leader | Dedicated Servant | Mentor

Pastor Homer D. Webb II is a humble and devoted servant of God, called to be a drum major for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Born to the Late Dr. Homer D. Webb, Sr., and Mrs. Willie Lois Webb, he was baptized and spiritually nurtured under the pastorship of his father at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Denton, Texas—the very place where his faith journey began.

At the age of 22, Pastor Webb received his divine calling to preach the Word of God. His ministerial journey commenced at Griggs Chapel Baptist Church, where he delivered his first sermon and was shepherded for 40 years under the spiritual leadership of his father, Dr. H.D. Webb, Sr. In 2019, through God’s sovereign plan, Pastor Webb was called to return to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church as its shepherd, continuing his father’s legacy.

Known for his charismatic and heartfelt delivery of the Gospel, Pastor Webb’s passion and authenticity have deeply impacted his congregation, fostering both spiritual and numerical growth. His dedication to empowering others has revitalized youth engagement, particularly through his dynamic “Next Gen” ministry, which equips young believers to navigate modern challenges with biblical truth. Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Webb is committed to sharing the Gospel in practical ways, helping individuals discover their God-given purpose.

A nurturer, protector, and confidant, Pastor Webb serves with compassion, humility, and transparency. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life inspires collective action and positive transformation.

A devoted family man, he has been married to Barbara Freeman Webb for 42 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three sons, grandparents of eight, and great-grandparents of one.
